Cari McLean (Owner, Director, Choreographer, Teacher)

Cari McLean grew up in Manitowoc, Wisconsin taking dance under Kristine Rakos, Sally Semmes, and then Kaleidoscope Dance Studio. She has also taken classes in New York City and Chicago from some of the world's top choreographers including: Wade Robson, Mia Michaels, Dan Karaty, and Mandy Moore. She has been dancing since she was two years old and hasn't stopped since! She has also taught for Kaleidoscope Dance Studio, Mirror Image Dance Academy, Beaver Dam Dance Academy, and the Manitowoc Parks and Recreation Department for five years! Cari has also worked with the UW-Manitowoc children's theatre choreographing Really Rosie. She choreographed for the Peter Quince Performing Company, Dare to Dream Theatre, the Capitol Civic Centre's Children's Theatre Camp, Lakeshore's Rising Stars, Brennan Seehafer's Ultimate Tribute, and Lakeland College's dance team and theatre department. Her choreography has won many awards and she also choreograph's all over Wisconsin. 

Cari has a Bachelor's of the Arts degree in Exercise Science. This allows her to understand the strengths and capabilities of the human body so that she can teach her students in a safe and productive environment. She continues to take classes and keep up with her dance training
 
Cassie Kaderabek (Hip Hop/Jazz)
 
Miss Cassie has been dancing for 25 years in tap, jazz, modern, lyrical, and mostly hip
hop. She currently also coaches Roncalli's dance team.  She started dancing at the age of 3 under Kroutine Rakos, and hasn't stopped since. (Miss Cari and Miss Cassie grew up dancing together)

Kobi Rozenfeld (Master Teacher/ Choreographer/ Contemporary/ Jazz Funk)
 

Kobi Rozenfeld's professional reputation and heightened demand in the dance industry has led him to work with some of the best entertainers and most notable celebrities in Hollywood. Not only has Kobi choreographed for Beyoncé and Natasha Bedingfield, but also most recently added “Musical Director” to his long list of titles when working on the Asia tour of Barbie LIVE, the Musical for Mattel and EMS Productions.

Some of his many choreography highlights include his work with the British singer/songwriter, Natasha Bedingfield, for the LifeBall charity event for AIDS LIFE, an organization raising money for people living with HIV and AIDS, in Vienna; choreographing for Mgacy Gray's latest hit Beauty in the World; and with none other than the incredible pop sensation, Beyoncé, for her 2009/10 I Am… World Tour, which lead to an invitation to perform alongside Beyoncé at the Grammy Awardsin January 2010. Kobi also choreographed for Israel's So You Think You Can Dance and for a musical show in California's LegolandAmusement Park.

Kobi was born in Israel, Ness Ziona, and has been dancing and choreographing from a very early age. This is where he performed in the successful productions of Fun-Tazi, Cabaret the Musical, Peter Pan and many more. Kobi worked with and choreographed for some of Israel’s top pop stars for music videos as well as national tours. He choreographed for the Little Mermaid the musical, and won numerous choreography awards at the top dance festivals in Israel.

In the summer of 2006, Kobi began working with Keshet Chaim Dance Ensemble upon his arrival in the United States. He choreographed new pieces for the company to great critical acclaim. With performances at the Disney Concert Hall, Paramount Studios, The Kodak Theater, for a special on PBS and more, he was quickly recognized for his talent and was given the title of Assistant Artistic Director.

L.A's top working dancers presented Kobi's choreographic work at the prestigious Carnival- Choreographer's Ball.  He now travels the world as a free-lance master teacher and choreographer and has taught master classes at the Broadway Dance Center in New York, IDA Hollywood and Studio 84 in Los Angeles as well as international workshops in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, France, Slovakia, Spain and Guam. 

 

 

 

Patrick Burns (Tap, and Hip Hop)

 

Patrick has spent his whole life around dance! Over the last 22 years he has been growing as a dancer.  Patrick’s favorite areas of dance are hip hop and tap. He has been teaching both art forms for about 8 years now and loves to share it with others. Patrick currently teaches for Marilyn’s Academy of Dance and travels with Dupree Dance Enterprise, where he teaches a across the nation. Other than teaching Patrick has been a part of the ASU Hip Hop Coalition, Phoenix Mercury Hip Hop Squad, and also has performed for numerous functions around the Phoenix area. His choreography has been seen at dance performances around the U.S. and on television. Patrick also has performed for MTV’s My Super Sweet Sixteen and also at the 2009 NBA All Star game.  Currently, Patrick can be seen at the NBA Phoenix Suns games with his infamous “Dancing Dads”.

 

Patrick shares his love of dance through performing and teaching. He has a fun and energetic personality that reflects through his dancing. He appreciates the help from everyone that has been a part of his success in dance especially Roland Dupree and Marilyn’s Academy of Dance.

Meghan Way-Stinson (Tap/Jazz/Lyrical)

 

Originally from St. Louis, MO, and after working in Los Angeles for years, Meghan now residesin Dallas working as a dancer, international master teacher, and choreographer. Meghan’s credits include: Industrials (Wrigleys, GE, Redken, Gallo Beer, and Tarbell Reality), AIDS Benefitwith Jaime Lee Curtis, Carvel Ice Cream, John Robert Powers, Lopez Tonight, Disneyland’s “Snow White”, PDS Awards-honoring Joe Tremaine, University of Missouri Golden Girls, Nokia Theater-Los Angeles, Dance Spirit, LA Fashion Week, Carnival, and Harrah’s Casino. She is a former member of Gregg Russell’s, “Tapsounds Underground” and of Joelle Martinec’s, “SoleVita Dance Company”.She currently is a part of “Rhythmic Souls” Tap Company, a professional tap company out of Dallas.Meghan has had the opportunity to perform and teach master classes in Canada, Singapore, Costa Rica, England, Switzerland, Germany, Guatemala, and Bosnia. Her work in Bosnia was with the non-profitorganization, “Genesis:Sarajevo”. Meghan lived, performedand toured in China for the 2010 World Expo, and assistedJoJoDiggs in Tokyo, Japan, training and working with multiple Japanese pop stars. She has also trained with and assisted Liz ImperioTyceDiorio, Doug Caldwell, Gregg Russell, and Mandy Moore, among others. Meghan hasbeen on faculty for the EDGE Performing Arts Center in Hollywood

 

 

Joey Hernandez (Hip Hop/Contemporary)

 

A member of the National Dance Association, and artistic director of Resilience Dance Company (Rockford, IL) a pre-professional mentorhsip program.

He is a first generation college graduate receiving his B.A. in Dance and Health & Society from Beloit College where he has been privileged to return to be part of the Upward Bound Program. Joey has studied under the direction of Chris Johnson, Robert Lewis, (Xtreme Dance Force, America’s Best Dance Crew), Cedric Gardner (So You Think You Can Dance, Step Up 3-D), Paige Cunningham, and many others during his career. Joey is the only student to receive the annual Chavy Family endowed award for performance excellence twice from Beloit.

Performance credits include: The Miss Illinois Pageant, Beth Fowler Dance Co, The Harvest Chicago Contemporary Dance Festival, American College Dance Festival, Chelonia Dance Co, Madison Contemporary Vision, Legends in Concert (Las Vegas, NV) Gate Way Theater, and Foxwoods Casino Complex.

On scholarship Joey has studied with Inaside Chicago Dance, Urban Jamm Dance Convention, and Dupree Dance Tour. As well as taken class in L.A. at Millennium Dane Complex, Movement Life Style, and The Edge Performing Arts Center from leading choreographers in the dance industry. This is all preceded by many other awards from regional and national dance competitions during his youth which includes regional and national solo titles and an appearance in Dancer Magazine in 2005 for,” the Future Star Award.”

Joey has  set pieces for Chicago’s Choreographers Carnival, the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, and Beloit College’s Repertory Dance. As well as contributed guest classes and choreography for many dance studios and high school dance teams across the United States. He has had the great fortune to be a judge for Applause Talent, StarQuest, Marvonna National Dance, and Raw Energy Dance Talent Competitions as well as a convention instructor for KickStart Dance Convention. In his most recent venture Joey has started an open class workshop series titled “Dance 4 Change”, to promote advocacy, awareness, and raise donations in support of the Crohn’s Colitis Foundation of America. (CCFA.Org). He is also currently faculty at Millennium Dance in Chicago. 

 

Kasey Hadler (Substitute Teacher)
Kasey has taken dance for 10 years.  She is captain of the Lincoln High Pom Squad, and has been a part of our studio forever.  She is a fun energetic person and our Hip Hop pro!
 
Brooke Miller
 
Brooke Miller started performing at a young age in musicals in the manitowoc area. She started choreographing for local theater when she was 15 year old and won the student choreography award at the Junior Theater Festival in 2012. Brooke started her college career in Fall of 2012 at the Peck School of the Arts in Milwaukee, WI. She is pursuing her BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography. Spring of 2014 she went on a whim and auditioned for Walt Disney World. She had been employed as a performer for about one year. She will be returning this fall still employed at Disney but to finish her degree at UW-Milwaukee.
 
Dayna Jaeger (Assisstant Teacher/Office Staff/Ballet Barre/ everything)

Dayna has danced since she was two years old.  She started assissting with classes at the age of 12, and has worked with our studio since day one.  Dayna currently assists classes, as well as substitutes when other teacher's are unavailable.
 
Alyssa Worley (Substitute Teacher)
Alyssa has danced with MantyDance for 10 years.  She started assissting with classes three years ago, and works with our dancers frequently.  Miss Alyssa also substitutes when teacher's are unavailable.
